Clicksee Network is seeking talented and motivated individuals looking to pursue a career in Windows system administration for web hosting environment. The System Administrator will help the company to grow our web hosting business. The role involves many important aspects including customer support.
Job Description:
- Work with Plesk Control Panel on a daily basis to support customers.
- Monitor Windows servers for performance issues and stability concerns.
- Administer web hosting accounts.
- Regular application installations, configurations, and day-to-day administration.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues as they arise.
- Staying up to date with new versions of applications used on the servers.
- Working with and troubleshooting all of the following, including, but not limited to: SMTP, FTP, SSL, DNS, RDP, TCP, and UDP.
- Work with database applications: MSSQL, MySQL.
- Work with R1soft’s backup product.
- Work with our web developers to troubleshoot and diagnose Web applications such as ASP.NET and PHP.
- Provide technical support to web hosting customers.
- Work with ticketing system. Document issues and associated resolutions to problems.
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Two or more years of experience in Windows Web Server administration.
- Willing and able to cover night shift if needed.
- Experience with Parallels’s Plesk Control Panel and other control panel products.
- Be willing to work with and learn Windows Server 2012, MS SQL Server 2014 and other technologies as they are released and implemented.
