สอบถามเกี่ยวกับการแบ่ง CPU ใน VM ESXi 6.xx (มือใหม่)

ปกติแล้วผมใช้ Dell R210 ที่มี 4 คอ 8 เทรด แล้วทีนี้ผมจะไปใช้เป็น VPS แทน
ผมเลยซื้อเครื่อง Dell R620 มา มี 16 คอ 32 เทรด มาแบ่งใช้งานเอง (ประหยัดค่าเช่า)

ผมสงใสตรงการตั้งค่า CPU ของ VM ครับ

CPU = 8
Core Per Socket = 2
อันนี้เป็นค่าที่ผมตั้งไป ผมเข้าใจว่า CPU คือ Core ที่เราต้องการ
แต่ในส่วนของ Core Per Socket ส่วนนี้คืออะไรหรอครับ ปกติมันจะเซ็ทมาที่ 1

ก่อนหน้านี้ ผมเซ็ท CPU = 8 / Core Per Socket = 1 ผลที่ได้คือ VM มีอาการแลค ๆ นิดหน่อย
แต่พอปรับเหมือนในภาพข้างบน มันลื่นขึ้นครับ

อยากสอบถามว่า ถ้าจะปรับให้อิงกับเครื่องเก่าที่เคยใช้งาน 4 คอ 8 เทรด
ผมควรปรับค่ายังไงดีครับ ให้ลื่นกว่านี้
